Kids eat FREE at Perkins in Anoka on Tuesdays and Saturdays after 4pm with the purchase of an adult entree. This Perkins is at the Main Street exit at Hwy 10.
My family and I love Perkins anytime of the day, but we’ll be visiting after 4pm to take advantage of the FREE kids meals.
Also, sign up for the eClub to receive coupons for a free slice of pie on your birthday and anniversary by email. I was able to register my spouse with my account, but had to use a separate email to register my children.
My husband and I decided we needed a date night, so we headed to downtown to enjoy some dinner, wine and art. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the admission to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts was FREE! The MIA offers free admission thanks to all their wonderful members and gracious supporters.
Not all exhibits are free, but the ones that are will keep you satisfied. I really enjoyed the Alexander Roslin portraits, as well as the Visions of Southwest. I recommend this for a date night; it’s romantic and best of all, FREE!
Check out one of Minnesota’s famous fall attractions at Sever’s Corn Maze. Every fall they offer a new theme for their famous corn maze, and this year it’s Vote ’08! Sever’s does an amazing job creating their corn maze and as the picture shows this year is no exception.
You’ll enjoy wandering through the maze as you look for the 26 signs posted throughout and track them on your map. You and your family can hunt for 6 pictures of ‘Sever’ in presidential costumes and learn facts about the White House and the electorial process. Track the signs and pictures you find on your map and turn it in at the end of the maze to be entered in the weekly $50 gas gift card giveaway. Also, check out the magic show, exotic petting zoo, pig races and more. Admission is $11 and kids under 4 are free as well as Presidents, Senators, and Congressman; check out Sever’s website for a coupon for $1 off admission.
My family and I love Sever’s Corn Maze, and I’m sure your family will too!
Planning a trip to Anaheim or Orlando in 2009 with the family? Disney is offering free admission to their Disneyland and Disney World parks on your birthday! This is a great deal for families, the current price of single day single park admission is $69.
Like most too good to be true deals there are stipulations. You are required to show proof of birthday no matter what age you are, and the free admission is only valid on your actual birthday. Are you an Annual Passholder or already purchased your Multi-day pass, then register and redeem a special birthday gift!
It seems to me that you need to register at the park you will be visiting so provided are the links to registration page of both parks.
Wanna see Jason Mraz, Neil Young, Joan Osborn, or Cold Play….but don’t want the nose-bleed seats? Well then sign up for the Cities 97 Frequent Listener Cluband you’ll receive pre-sale codes for all the hottest concerts in the Metro!
Many of Cities 97’s concerts are family friendly, and concert tickets always make a good present (especially for tweens & teenagers). This isn’t necessarily a frugal tip, but if you are going to spend the money for concert tickets you deserve the best tickets for your dollar.
TODAY ONLY!! Culver’s is celebrating their anniversary by offering their most popular item, the Butterburger, for $1.00. The offer is good for up to 5 Butterburgers and no coupon is required!
This makes a great quality meal for the family, while this may not be the most nutritious option it’s an A+ in the taste category.
